Nei prossimi mesi ci sarà qualche evento per me importante quindi, vista l'urgente necessità di rimettermi in forma, ieri sera mi ero ripromessa di fare yoga fai-da-te grazie ad un'app fighissima che ho scaricato recentemente. Invece non ho resistito: ero così troppo, troppo contenta di aver finito questa collana che mi sono messa all'opera per fotografarla e scrivere un post tutto per lei!
Realizzarla non è stato facile perchè ho deciso di unire a specchio coppie di dischi in ottone tramite saldatura e inizialmente pensavo fosse una cosa veloce. In realtà non avevo fatto i conti con la scarsa precisione che si ha quando si utilizzano le forbici per il metallo anziché il tagliadischi, ma avendone uno davvero odioso e praticamente inutile ho impiegato un bel po' di tempo a far combaciare perfettamente i lati dei dischetti. Ovviamente non voglio mai lasciarla vinta a niente e nessuno ma non nego di essere stata tentata dal rinunciare!!

that I started work to photograph and write a post all for her!

Actually I had come to terms with the lack precision that is when you use metal scissors instead of the disk cutter, but having one really obnoxious and practically useless I took a lot of time to match perfectly the sides of the disks. Obviously I never want to leave it won at nothing and at no one but I do not deny that I was tempted by giving up!!

Il foro al centro è visibilmente irregolare e c'è un perché: lo sono anche le perle di fiume su cui avevo deciso di costruire i componenti della collana. Il foro è un po' uno specchio sulla perla, ne segue i lineamenti anche se non troppo fedelmente. L'ottone mi sembrava perfetto, mi piace un sacco il contrasto del giallo con l'azzurro, il blu, il viola.
La collana è un girocollo composto in realtà da due parti separabili, ho cercato così di renderla ancora più particolare perchè a mio parere non le si addiceva un semplice cordino di lino buttato lì. Con le due chiusure laterali in argento 925 mi è sembrato di darle una continuità.

The hole is a bit a mirror on the pearl, it follows the outlines although not too faithfully. The brass seemed perfect, I like a lot the contrast of yellow with azure, blue, purple.
The necklace is a crew-neck that consists actually on two separable parts, so I tried to make it even more special because in my opinion did not suit her a simple linen lanyard tossed. With the two side locks on silver 925 I seemed to give her a continuity.

PS → Se mai potesse servire a qualcuno questa informazione, ho scoperto come evitare di imprecare ogni volta che carico le foto su blogger. Non capivo perchè nonostante il lavoraccio eseguito per elaborare al meglio le immagini, nei post sembrassero sempre scure e davvero pessime. Il problema è il formato, perché salvandole in png anziché jpg si vedono molto molto meglio e l'effetto è tutta un'altra cosa!
