FERIE FINITE, INIZIO SOFT

 

Da oggi si ricomincia a lavorare, dopo due settimane di totale riposo in cui non ho toccato alcun tipo di metallo o pietra... mi sono completamente dedicata al far niente. In queste due settimane il clima è stato pessimo con continue pioggie, freddo anomalo e la costante speranza che le temperature salissero per godere di almeno un accenno di estate!

Sarà anche a causa del tempo che la voglia di fare continua a mancare e l'umore non è proprio dei più felici ma volevo comunque salutarvi, e ho pensato di farlo con qualche immagine rubata con lo smartpone qualche giorno fa a Castell'Arquato, un incantevole borgo medioevale della provincia di Piacenza, che vi consiglio di visitare! Durante questa gita fuori porta non ho potuto fare a meno di sentirmi ispirata. Ve li immaginate tutti gli oggetti in rame e altri metalli che venivano forgiati a mano, all'epoca del Medioevo? Ogni tanto ci penso, mi immagino di realizzare qualcosa a tema, magari di partecipare a qualche rievocazione con il mio banchettino allestito... mai dire mai!

From today I restart to work after two weeks of total rest when I did not touch any metal or stone... I'm completely dedicated to doing nothing. In these two weeks the weather was very bad with continuous rains, abnormal cold and the constant hope that the temperatures go up to enjoy at least a hint of summer!
It will also be because of the time that the desire to do still missing and the mood is not just the happiest but I still wanted to say goodbye, and I thought I'd do it with some picture stolen with my smartpone a few days ago in Castell'Arquato, a charming medieval village in the province of Piacenza, which I recommend you to visit! During this trip out of town I feel inspired. Can you imagine all objects in copper and other metals that were forged by hand, at the time of the Middle Ages? Every so often I think about it, I guess to make something on theme, maybe participate in some re-enactment with my set table... never say never!

ETSY, W LE TREASURY

 
Etsy è uno di quei siti web che non mi stancano mai. L'ho scelto come negozio virtuale perché a primo impatto mi era piaciuto molto il modo in cui è impostato, e con il tempo mi ha convinta sempre di più. Cercare di essere all'altezza non è proprio facile, prima di tutto per la bravura dei tanti artiste/i presenti degni di essere chiamati tali, e poi in particolar modo per quanto riguarda le immagini: da quando sono su Etsy litigo intensamente con la reflex per tirar fuori qualcosa di particolare e per il momento siamo 1 - 0 per lei, tanto che ho in programma un restyling totale. 

Le foto sono infatti molto importanti. Rappresentano il primo impatto che chi ci segure tramite il web ha con quello che facciamo, sono ciò che deve attrarre l'occhio immediatamente. Una cosa molto carina che gli utenti di Etsy hanno la possibilità di fare con le foto, sono le treasury: una raccolta di 16 immagini di oggetti creati da diversi utenti che hanno in comune qualcosa, come il colore, l'utilità, ecc... voglio mostrarvi alcune delle treasury in cui sono stati inseriti i miei gioielli. Etsy is one of those websites that never get tired. I chose it as a virtual store because at first glance I really liked it the way it is set up, and over time has convinced me more and more. Match up with other users it's not really easy, first of their skill and then especially regarding images: since I've been on Etsy I quarrel intensely with the camera to make up with something special, and for the moment we are 1-0 for her, so I scheduled a total makeover.

The pictures are indeed very important. They represent in the web the first impression that people have with what we do, are what must to attract the eye immediately. A very cute thing that Etsy users have the opportunity to do with the photos, are treasuries: a collection of 16 images of objects created by different users that have something in common, such as color, utility, etc... UNA GIORNATA A VENEZIA

Ogni tanto è bello distrarsi, fa bene dimenticarsi di tutto e godersi una giornata spensierata! Io e il mio ragazzo siamo andati a farci un giretto a Venezia, una toccata e fuga ma comunque molto intensa... tra arte e maschere, quindi sempre all'insegna della creatività! Si perché ci siamo andati poco prima di carnevale, il 28 febbraio e ho potuto dar sfogo alla mia voglia di imparare qualcosa di un'arte che adoro: la fototografia! Quindi mostra fotografica e via a caccia di maschere (che diciamolo, sono estremamente vanitose e mi hanno facilitato l'impresa) :)

Sometimes it is nice to get distracted, it's good to forget it all and enjoy a carefree day! Me and my boyfriend went on a ride to Venice, a hit-and-run very intense... between art and masks, but always full of creativity! It is why we went there just before Carnival, on February 28, and I was able to give vent to my desire to learn something of an art that I love: the photography! So photographic exhibition and we are went chasing of masks (which let's face it, they are extremely vain and I have facilitated the mission) :)
