ANELLI EFFERVESCENTI

Non credevo fosse passato così tanto tempo dal mio ultimo post e invece sì, addirittura più di un mese. Non mi piacciono questi ritmi, cercherò di rimediare una volta finita la frenesia estiva. Anche se diciamocelo, chi vuole che finisca la frenesia estiva? Nessuno!! Viva le belle stagioni, il sole e il lago (per me), il mare e la montagna per molti, i mercatini... sì perché nella mia estate ci sono anche quelli! Infatti se date un'occhiata alla pagina mercatini trovate l'elenco degli aventi a cui parteciperò con i miei gioielli, e anche l'indirizzo per arrivare dritti dritti al mio banchetto alla festa country di stasera a Padenghe, lago di Garda (BS) :-D

Tornando a noi, oggi pubblico alcune foto che sono già circolate sulla pagina facebook Shaping Metal e che hanno ricevuto, con mio sconfinato piacere, molti consensi. Si tratta di due anelli, di cui vi racconto brevemente la storia.

Poco tempo fa mio fratello si è sposato, è stata una giornata meravigliosa e gli sposini erano raggianti e a dir poco splendidi. Ovviamente ho voluto creare per l'occasione dei gioielli più particolari da indossare, e ho scelto subito l'argento e delle pietre sui toni del giallo per accostarle ad una pochette color lime e al vestito un po' più dark. Sono partita alla cieca per il Mineralshow di Verona per acquistare queste sante pietre e ho trovato del quarzo citrino per la collana (ma questa è una delle prossime storie) e questa gemma di prenite dal colore meraviglioso. Mi sono lanciata, non senza terrore, nella costruzione di un anello con castone e griffe e questo è ciò che ne è risultato...

L'anello che vedete invece all'inizio del post mi è stato commissionato. Anche in questo caso i colori delle pietre, amazzonite, onice e ametista, sono meravigliosamente accostati. Con il rame nel suo colore naturale, queste tonalità sono perfette per l'estate!

IL PUNTO DELLA SITUAZIONE

Il punto della situazione è... che non aggiorno questo blog da una ventina i giorni!! A differenza della pagina Facebook, che permette di comunicare in modo immediato, elaborare post per il blog richiede tempo da dedicare... cosa che attualmente non ho! E allora ho pensato di fare una carrellata di immagini con poche parole, per raccontarvi cosa sto facendo in questo periodo.

Questo è un anello in rame e vetro a misura fissa (12 ITA, 6 US). Ho giocato realizzando un motivo ad onde sulla parte superiore della bastina del castone. Se vi interessa contattatemi, è disponibile!

Con questo pezzo di lamina di ottone sto cercando di fare una base per una madreperla, insieme andranno a formare il ciondolo di una collana.

Orecchini realizzati su richiesta. Foglioline in rame con monachella in argento. Le foglie sono lunghe circa 2,50 cm, non ne avevo mai forgiate di così piccole.

Ecco la collana "special": la sto preparando per me, per un'occasione speciale che si avvicina velocemente... e vi farò sapere presto :-)

Io, che non mi so organizzare, non riesco a rinunciare a queste occasioni imperdibili. Quindi, in questo marasma generale, mi sono messa a fare anche la marmellata!! :-P

PATINA ARANCIONE SU RAME • ANELLI REGOLABILI

In questo post vi avevo parlato di una patina arancione ottenuta per caso su un pezzo di lamina di rame. Con quella lamina ho realizzato il bracciale composto da tre tondi imbutati, e proprio quella forma è protagonista degli anelli che vi presento oggi. Ho realizzato tre anelli dalle stesse caratteristiche ma di diverse dimensioni: uno con un tondo piccolo (Ø 0,6 cm), che ricorda un po' un anello con una pietra montata, un anello con un tondo un po' più grande (Ø 1,20 cm)e l'ultimo che è praticamente la somma dei due precedenti. In questo modo ho sfruttato tutta la lamina che avevo, ricoperta dalla patina arancione che prima o poi proverò a ritrovare.

La fascia dell'anello è larga e fa due giri intorno al dito, tutto è fissato con un rivetto in argento 925. Esattamente come accadeva per questo, tutti e tre gli anelli di oggi sono regolabili.

ANELLO IN ARGENTO RETICOLATO E AMETISTA

Finora non ho realizzato una gran varietà di anelli e quando ho reticolato un pezzo di lamina di argento (ho spiegato cos'è e come si reticola in questo post con video tutorial) ho deciso che l'avrei sfruttato per vari scopi, quindi ne ho riservata una parte anche per un anello, appunto. E' la prima volta che ne realizzo uno a fascia larga e la motivazione, oltre ad un piacevole fattore estetico, riguarda il sempre presente problema della misura. In questo modo l'anello è regolabile e se dovessi esporlo ad un mercatino non ci sarebbero incertezze; diverso è quando mi viene richiesto un anello personalizzato ed ho il tempo di farlo della giusta misura.

La rondella di ametista è trattenuta da un rivetto in rame e fa sì che la lamina irregolare e imbutita, la fascia e la pietra vengano tenute saldamente insieme. L'argento ovviamente è di tipo sterling, il diametro della parte superiore è di circa 1,50 cm e la fascia è larga 0,40 cm e compie un doppio giro intorno al dito.

The amethyst washer is held by a copper rivet and causes that the irregular and drawn foil, the strip and the stone are kept firmly together. The silver is sterling type of course, the diameter of the top part is about 0.6 inch, and the band is 0.2 inch wide and makes a double turn around the finger.

ANELLO RAME E LABRADORITE BIANCA

L'autunno mi sta scombussolando. Faccio fatica a tenere il ritmo dei post, sono poco organizzata... è come se avessi perso l'orientamento, in questo periodo a dir poco incasinato. E allora cerco di essere presente comunque, di pubblicare gioielli non visti in precedenza anche se, come in questo caso, fotocopia di altri pubblicati in precedenza.

Se non altro potrete notare anche voi le sensazioni che può dare un oggetto riprodotto con pietre diverse, e in fondo sarebbe un peccato non mostrarvi tutte le versioni che ho realizzato di questo tipo di anello con castone. Qui il post di fine estate a cui mi riferisco, con anello in rame e ametista. Oggi invece vi mostro lo stesso anello, solo leggermente più grande nella parte superiore, con pietra di luna. Mi piace particolarmente questa pietra per via della sua iridescenza, cioè quei riflessi che si vedono muovendola alla luce, gli stessi della labradorite. La pietra di luna è infatti chiamata anche labradorite bianca.

Mi succede spesso di rendermi conto degli errori che faccio solo dopo aver fotografato ed essermi fermata ad osservare le immagini. Forse la macchina fotografica accentua di più le imperfezioni, non lascia loro scampo, ed entra di nuovo in gioco il discorso che sì ci sono delle imperfezioni, ma sono anche il marchio del fatto a mano. In ogni caso anche questo mi da spunto per migliorarmi e crescere :-)

ANELLO CON CASTONE IN RAME E AMETISTA

E' una ripresa lenta questa di settembre. Da ieri è iniziata una nuova fase della mia vita a causa di cambiamenti che sono avvenuti e decisioni importanti che dovranno essere prese. Nel caos generale la buona notizia è che per un po' avrò più tempo per me, per i miei hobby, ma è una cosa nuova a cui non sono abituata e mi devo un attimino organizzare.

Questo anello si è già visto sulla mia pagina facebook e in questo post di luglio. Non consiste quindi in niente di nuovo, ma voglio dargli una giusta descrizione, anche perchè rappresenta un passo importante di ciò che cerco di imparare giorno dopo giorno. Realizzare un castone non è facilissimo, la difficoltà maggiore riguarda soprattutto la pulizia e la precisione; questo presenta molti difetti e me ne rendo conto, per me rappresenta sia un traguardo che un punto di partenza per migliorare.

Mi chiedo comunque se ci sia così bisogno di tanta precisione, o se chi apprezza questo tipo di accessori sia attratto anche dall'evidente imperfezione. Ci sarà un limite da non oltrepassare?

La pietra è ametista, l'anello è regolabile ma realizzabile anche su misura, dietro richiesta, così come in ottone o argento sterling. Ho preferito lasciare al rame il suo colore naturale per mantenere la luminosità dell'anello.

It's a slow recovery this September. Since yesterday began a new phase of my life because of changes that have taken place and important decisions that must be made. In general chaos the good news is that for a while I'll have more time for me, for my hobby, but it is a new thing that I'm not used and I have just a moment to organize.
This ring has already been seen on my facebook page and in this post of July. It does not consist in anything back thensomething new, but I want to give them a fair description, also because it represents an important step of what I try to learn every day. Making a bezel is not easy, especially the major difficulty concerns the cleanliness and precision; this has many flaws and I realize that, for me is a goal that is a starting point for improvement.
I wonder, however, if there is so much need for precision, or if those who appreciate this kind of accessories is also attracted by the evident imperfection. There will be a limit not to exceed?
The stone is amethyst, the ring is adjustable but also achievable upone request, as well on brass or sterling silver. I preferred leave to copper its natural color to maintain the ring's brightness.

CASTONI... FATTI A MANO

Nell'ultimo periodo mi sono dedicata principalmente alla sperimentazione di nuove forme, tra cui ear cuff e castoni. Di ear cuff ve ne ho già fatti vedere tanti, e ne ho ancora qualcuno in serbo. I castoni, i primi che ho sperimentato, sono questi e quello saldato sull'anello di oggi, con una pietra di acquamarina.

In the last period I am dedicated mainly to experimentation of new forms, including ear cuff and bezels. I show you many ear cuff jet, and I still have someone in backup. The bezels, the first that I have experimented, are these and that today wich is soldered on the ring, with an aquamarine stone.

E' evidente l'irregolarità dei risultati ma ve li mostro comunque, in particolare per un motivo: mi piacerebbe farvi vedere passo dopo passo se e come miglioro nella lavorazione di questi componenti, partendo da questo che è il primo anello realizzato con castone. Un modo di sentire anche il vostro parere, un metodo per me per crescere confrontandomi.

Sto meditando di mettere in stand by il blog nel mese di agosto per preparare altri gioielli, per sistemare un po' di cose che stanno cambiando nella mia vita, e si... magari anche per riposare un po'. E in settembre posterò man mano tutti gli anelli su cui ho fatto un restyling, come accennato sulla mia pagina facebook: infatti ho riprogettato un tutti quelli che vedete qui nel porta anelli diy realizzando per ognuno un castone e saldato sull'anello in rame. I castoni mi piacciono così tanto da non volermi limitare ovviamente ad utilizzarli solo per gli anelli, voglio vederli montati anche su collane, bracciali, e perchè no anche spille o altri accessori. Volete un esempio di un anello? Eccolo:

ANELLO IN RAME E PIETRE DURE

Quando ho realizzato il ciondolo in filo di rame e avventurina "albero della vita" l'ho fatto su richiesta e nella stessa commissione c'era un anello da potergli abbinare. Anche in questo caso c'era una preferenza per il filo e non per la lamina di metallo, e seguendo espressamente le indicazioni della committente ne è uscito fuori questo anello con chips e tondi di avventurina.

PREPARARSI AD UN MERCATINO - PORTA ANELLI DIY

Diciamolo, organizzare l'esposizione per un mercatino non è semplice. Si pensa tanto a cosa e quanto esporre, ma inizialmente si ignora il come. E quando ci si chiede "si, ma... dove le appendo queste collane? come espongo gli orecchini? gli anelli non si vedono per niente, dove li incastro?" inizia il bello.

Io sono una neofita, sto cercando di capire pian piano il modo più efficente di disporre i gioielli sul tavolo e mi sono accorta che vuol dire tanto. E' importantissimo dare la giusta visibilità a tutto e trasmettere ordine, evitare il caos. Così come è importante mettere qualche frase ad effetto qua e là, per esempio ho "origliato" una coppia mentre lei diceva a lui, davanti al mio banco, "no, i gioielli in rame non li voglio perchè mi lasciano il segno nero sulla pelle", e allora bam, cartellino sul tavolo "il metallo è ricoperto con vernice ad acqua - non lascia segni sulla pelle".

Ci si fa pian piano, e pian piano sto autoproducendo il necessario per esporre al meglio ciò che realizzo. Voglio farvi vedere uno di questi accessori: un porta anelli. E' nello stile che preferisco, naturale, e semplice come piace a me, e con il metallo e le pietre ce lo vedo benissimo. Mi piace pensare che anche attraverso queste cose chi viene a trovarmi mi riconosca.

PAROLA D'ORDINE: SEMPLICITA'

So di essere ripetitiva ma se è vero che non so mai decidermi, è anche confermato che una volta capito cosa voglio non mi smuove niente e nessuno. Sono convinta, voglio seguire la strada della semplicità per realizzare qualcosa di particolare, cercare di fare qualcosa di diverso, anche un po' strano, ma con poco. Quesi anelli altro non sono che filo metallico fuso alle estremità, detto alla buona "appallottolato".

Si può indossare in più di un modo, infatti ho voluto giocare un po' fotografandolo al dito, indossandolo prima in modo lineare e poi incrociato. Ma nulla vieta di indossarne più di uno facendo in modo che leghino tra di loro, e in questo caso si può giocare con i colori del rame, dell'argento, ma anche di eventuali anticature o colorazioni. Qualcosa mi dice che mi verrà presto voglia di sperimentare ancora con questo modello!

Something tells me that soon I will want to experiment with this model yet!
