TEA LIGHT • CASETTE PORTA CANDELE

Ogni tanto, navigando su Pinterest alla ricerca di tutto ciò che riguarda l'arredamento per la casa, mi imbatto in casette di vario tipo. Casette - cuccia per cani, casette - mensole, casette - porta spazzolino... anche i materiali variano a seconda del fine dell'oggetto e a me queste casette piacciono tantisssssssssssssssimo!! Non avendone mai viste in rame, mi sono messa all'opera e le ho fatte io, con lo scopo di utilizzarle per le tea light, ovvero le candeline scaldavivande.

Ne ho realizzate tre diverse, per portarle ai mercatini di Natale di Rango (che proseguiranno fino al week prima di Natale). I turisti sembrano apprezzare... voi che ne dite?
Occasionally, browsing on Pinterest looking for everything related to the home furnishings, I come across houses of various types. Lodges - doghouse, house - shelves, houses - toothbrush holder... even the materials vary according to the end of the object and to me these little houses like veeeeery much!! I had never seen in copper, I started work and I made myself, with the aim of using them for tea lights or candles warming.
I made three different, to bring them to the Christmas markets of Rango (which will continue until the week before Christmas). Tourists seem to like ... what do you think?

STELLINE ★★★ E' TEMPO DI PENSARE AL NATALE

Il Natale è più vicino di quanto sembra. Soprattutto per chi, come me, pensa al periodo di dicembre come un'occasione per fare qualche mercatino. Ho iniziato a pensarci, a dire il vero, già all'inizio dell'estate per capire cosa fare, dove andare... e ci penso ancor di più dall'inizio dell'autunno, momento in cui tutto inizia ad accelerare e il tempo sembra essere sempre meno. Ho fatto una selezione di idee su quali oggetti preparare e ho concluso che sì, voglio fare qualcosa a tema ma accenni... niente cose ingombranti, solo decorazioni il più delicate possibili. E sono partita così, con le mani nell'argilla, senza stampini (sennò che creatività è?), per realizzare un sacco di stelline di tre diverse dimensioni. Le ho colorate, fatte asciugare, e unite tra loro con la corda di canapa, per lasciare il fascino dei materiali naturali parlare da se.

I made a selection of ideas on what items to prepare and I have concluded that yes, I want to do something on theme but hints... nothing bulky things, only the most delicate decorations possible. And so I left, with my hands in the clay, no molds (otherwise what is creativity?), to achieve a lot of stars in three different sizes. I colored, made ​​dry, and joined together with hemp rope, to leave the charm of natural materials speak for themselves.

I fili di stelline si possono utilizzare in vari modi ed ho cercato di mostravene qualcuno con qualche foto (che non sono di gran qualità perchè fatte con lo smarphone, scusate ma il tempo da dedicare alla reflex è pochino): appese da un capo all'altro tipo bandierine tibetane, arrotolate a formare ghirlande... le immagino per esempio intorno ai bicchieri in occasione del pranzo di Natale :-) Se avete qualche altra idea, scrivetelo nei commenti! Piccoli home decor... ahhhh che passione!!

Sono stata invitata a partecipare al mercatino Sagra d'autunno di Bassano Bresciano, come scritto anche qui nell'apposita sezione, domenica 19 ottobre dalle 09:00 alle 19:00, e sarò lì con molto piacere con le mie creazioni! NUVOLETTE • HOME DECOR

Come accennato sulla pagina facebook, questa estate qui al nord di nuvolette ce ne sono state tante. Tantissime. Mentre ero in ferie ho fatto pulizia, e ne ho trovate anche di rame, agganciate ad alcuni fili per creare delle collane (questa) Dovete sapere che data la mia inesperienza, per i mercatini di Natale del 2013 avevo preparato tante copie di gioielli che avevo già realizzato per avere una piccola scorta, avendo poco tempo per crearne di nuovi. Questa collana non ha avuto un grande successo e ho deciso di riciclarla realizzando un oggetto per decorare la casa. Staccate le nuvolette, ho preso un pezzo di legno levigato dall'acqua del lago (d'Idro) e ho fatto dei forellini. Ho appeso le nuvolette e le ho accompagnate da alcuni pezzettini di cristallo di rocca, tenuti insieme da fili di rame, per simulare un po' le goccioline che spesso accompagnano le nuvole.

I hung the clouds, and I accompanied by some small pieces of rock crystal, held together with copper wire, to simulate a little droplets that often accompany the clouds.

Mi piacciono tanto le decorazioni per la casa un po' particolari, fai da te, dai colori tenui. Come questa con il legno nudo, il colore delicato della corda, quello più deciso del rame, la nota di vivacità regalata dal turchese e lo scintillio del cristallo. Io ci provo, e mi diverto. E voi cosa ne pensate del fatto di usare la lavorazione del metallo anche per creare delle decorazioni?

SCACCIASOGNI FATTO A MANO - DECORAZIONI PER LA CASA

 

Buongiorno mondo!

Voglio iniziare questa settimana con un po' di tono, nelle scorse settimane sono stata piuttosto piatta ed è ora di recuperare. Ieri mi sono fatta una bella passeggiata al lago (d'Idro, meraviglia!), il sole mi ha ricaricata ed oggi mi sento piena di energie!

La settimana scorsa, esattamente qui, ho introdotto un nuovo materiale che probabilmente farà parte delle mie creazioni per molto, molto tempo: l'argilla. Ho già parlato del fatto che non c'è bisogno di cuocerla e questo semplifica e velocizza non di poco il processo di realizzazione delle mie idee. Vi ho anche accennato il mio desiderio di iniziare a fare qualcosina anche per la decorazione della casa, perchè ho una vera e propria passione per tutte quelle cosine discrete ma originali che si vedono su Pinterest ma anche su Etsy. Mi piacciono talmente tanto questi home decor dai toni e dai materiali naturali che ho iniziato a realizzarne per me, per casa mia. Quindi mi sono detta che avrei potuto condividerli con voi e perchè no, inserire il genere "home decor" tra gli accessori shaping metal.

Yesterday I made a nice walk to the lake (of Idro, wonder!), the sun has recharged me and now I feel full of energy!Last week, right here, I introduced a new material that probably will be part of my creations for a very long time: clay. I have already talked about the fact that there is no need to cook and this simplifies and speeds not just the process of realization of my ideas. I have also mentioned my desire to start making a little something for the decoration of the house, because I have a real passion for all those discrete but original little things that can be seen on Pinterest but also on Etsy. I like so much these natural home decor tones and materials that I began to realize for myself, for my house. So I said to myself that I could share them with you and why not put the kind of "home decor" in the shaping metal accessories.

Quello che vedete nell'immagine è uno scacciasogni. Ho realizzato e sagomato le farfalle di diverse dimensioni, le ho colorate di bianco e agganciate al filo di cotone color naturale. Le farfalle sono appese con dei ganci di rame precedentemete fuso per creare una pallina, che le blocca al laccetto senza essere troppo vistoso. A fare da supporto è del legno sagomato per formare un cerchio, ben saldo grazie al filo di rame. Due rondelle di ametista impreziosiscono il laccetto di cotone che serve da gancio.

What you see in the picture is a dreamcatcher. I made and shaped butterflies of different sizes, I've colored and hook them to the natural color cotton thread. The butterflies are hung with an copper hooks molten before to create a ball, that hangs from the cord without being too showy. To make the support is the wood that is shaped to form a circle, firmly thanks to the copper wire. Two amethyst washers adorn the strap of cotton which serves as a hook.

Io l'ho attaccato alla lampada da terra che ho vicino al divano perchè mi piace lo stile naturale, dai toni chiari, ma lo vedrei bene anche nella cameretta di una bimba. E perchè no, anche appeso all'esterno, su un balcone o in veranda, per farlo muovere lievemente al vento.

I've stuck to the floor lamp next to the couch because I like the natural style, light-colored, but I would see it well in the bedroom of a child. And why not, hanging outside on a balcony or patio to make it move slightly in the wind.
