LIBELLULE E AMETISTA

I showed you a necklace•dragonfly, a rather two pin•dragonflies, you want to make me miss a pair of earrings? Not so, in fact, and here they are. But I have an excuse: all the accessories, although created based on the same model, have different characteristics. Here I added a little color with metal patina and agate, here the body is removed from the punch and decorated both with amazonite, while the earrings are embellished with a silver drop, first melt to be balled and then welded between the wings of the insect. The stone that accompanying the hook is amethyst and I tried to create a little visual contrast leaving inside the wings the color of polished copper, and browning the outside to make it darker. Dragonfly height: 1.6 inch.

Nuova ossessione in arrivo :-)
Inspiration from nature by following a simple, straightforward design gives me satisfaction. Now I will have to test to the field the response with dragonflies, although a test of their strength I've had and I've told you here. While waiting I put it gently and momentarily aside and on Etsy and I focus on... other insects!! New obsession is coming :-)

Buona settimana / Have a good week

LIBELLULE E AUGURI

Blissful tranquility... the Christmas Markets of Rango (TN) were completed Sunday, an event that has persisted over the last four weekends, including Immaculate day, quite tiring but very satisfying. But I will tell you everything in the next post, next week (as announced here as well), to thank everyone and post some pictures.

I prepared this necklace for the markets and already the 29th of November, the day when it all started, was hung on a expositor. It received many compliments, many caresses, and finally a gentleman very nicely took it literally on the fly and purchased secretly by his wife whom she had fallen in love. These things make me melt a lot :-)
The fact is that now little dragonfly is currently not available, but given the positive reviews I certainly repeat them. To be honest I've already prepared other, but I assembled differently by this dividing between pins, necklaces, earrings. Here they are together in one flock, still free from bondage:

But talk of the necklace in question: the wings are welded to the main body which is nothing but a piece of wire. The chain is simple because it only consists of copper wire, and washers of colored agate are very small. The dragonfly is only 1.6 inch high and the necklace has a circumference of 27.6 inch, so it is quite long.

A presto :-)
I guess I just do not post other jewelry for this year, it's time to get some rest. I wish you a good good good good Christmas!! See you soon :-)
